The Heart Behind the Lens
Hi friend,
I’m a Raleigh family, maternity, and newborn photographer with a love for honest storytelling and meaningful moments. I believe the most beautiful images grow from feeling comfortable and truly yourself, which is why my approach is relaxed, natural, and centered on genuine connection.
When I’m not documenting growing families throughout the Triangle, you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband and our dog, socializing with friends, or recharging at home. I care deeply about the experience my clients have and am honored to preserve the seasons that matter most.
Beyond The Lens
Outside of photography, I work in marketing and recruiting for a nationwide nonprofit focused on supporting children and families. In my free time, you’ll usually find me trying new restaurants, cuddling the babies of my closest friends and family, reading suspenseful novels, or binge-watching my favorite trash TV shows.
My Approach
I’m drawn to natural light and a thoughtful editing process that allows each image to feel calm, cohesive, and true to the moment. I consider myself an intimate, family milestone photographer, focused on capturing and telling the unique story of each family that steps in front of my camera.
A Little More About Me
How long have you been in the business?
Almost SEVEN YEARS! I launched my business in the summer of 2019 and haven’t looked back since—so grateful for the families who trust me and that I get to call this my job.
What is something you always look forward to?
A good dirty martini — emphasis on the good — preferably paired with good company and great food in a vibey restaurant.
What is something you enjoy doing in your free time?
Cooking! I love collecting cookbooks and look forward to planning my weekly menu — it’s one of my favorite little rituals.
What is your dream location for a vacation?
Greece — no question at all. I love the idea of good food, beautiful views, and taking life a little slower for a while.
What is a show you will never step rewatching?
Schitt’s Creek. I’ve rewatched it at least five times and somehow it never gets old. It’s definitely my go-to comfort show — especially during long editing days.
Who is your best friend?
My dog, Gus! He’s a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and my built-in bestie. He’ll happily snooze on my lap for hours while I edit and never complains about long workdays.
