How much does a family photography session cost in Raleigh?
Family photography sessions with Emma Branch Photography begin with a session fee of $250, which secures your date and includes session planning, creative guidance, and access to your proof gallery. After your session, digital image collections are available starting at $200 so families can select the images they love most.
What is required to book with you?
I require a signed electronic contract and the $250 session fee to be paid at the time of booking to reserve your date.
When will I receive my final gallery?
You can expect your final gallery to be delivered electronically within 2-3 weeks from the date of the shoot! This timeline is also dependent on how quickly you choose your collection package and images after receiving your proof gallery.
What if there is rain on the date of the shoot?
In the event of poor weather, we will work together to reschedule your session based on availability. Please keep in mind that overcast skies, light drizzle, wet ground conditions, or cooler temperatures may not require rescheduling. More details are outlined in my photography contract.
What if I need to reschedule?
I completely understand that life happens and sessions sometimes need to be rescheduled! One complimentary reschedule can typically be accommodated with at least five days notice. Rescheduled sessions must take place within 60 days of the original session date and are based on photographer availability. Additional reschedule requests may incur a $45 rescheduling fee.
What should we wear?
Styling is a critical element for a successful shoot. My session price includes assisted styling which starts with a styling tool that is sent out 6-8 weeks prior to the shoot to help get the conversation moving.
Do I have to order prints through you?
Nope! Your final gallery will include high-resolution digital images without watermarks, so you’ll have the freedom to print and share your images for personal use. However, I also provide access to a professional photography print shop that offers beautiful, high-quality prints and products.
Do you travel for sessions?
Yes! I photograph families throughout Raleigh and the surrounding Triangle area including Cary, Apex, Wake Forest, Durham, and Chapel Hill. Travel within 25 miles of the 27703 zip code is included with your session. Locations between 25–40 miles can typically be accommodated for an additional $35 travel fee.
Do you offer mini sessions?
As of 2026, EBP will no longer be offering seasonal mini sessions. I have learned that full sessions allow for unrushed time, children to warm up and play, and for my creative ability to thrive. Thank you for understanding.
