Raleigh, NC Newborn Photography with Triplets
This session was a first for me—and definitely one I’ll never forget. Photographing newborn triplets in their home? It was wild, beautiful, and totally outside my usual routine in the best way.
When I arrived, the house was filled with that cozy new baby energy—times three. Swaddles everywhere, bottles lined up, and three tiny babies each with their own little personalities. It was pure (and adorable) chaos. I’m used to tuning into one baby—reading their cues, letting them lead the session. With triplets, it was a whole new challenge. There were moments when one was sleeping peacefully, another needed to be fed, and the third just wanted to be held. Every part of the session required flexibility, patience, and trust in the in-between moments—those quiet little pauses where real life happens. And that’s where the sweetest images came to life.

But what stood out the most to me was the parents. Watching them move through the day with so much calm and grace was honestly inspiring. They didn’t rush. They didn’t stress. They tag-teamed every little need with a quiet rhythm that felt like they’d been doing it forever. Their teamwork, their humor, and the way they stayed connected through it all? That’s what made this session feel extra special.
Sessions like this remind me that newborn photography isn’t just about perfectly posed images or sleepy baby smiles. It’s about telling the real story—one full of love, patience, messes, giggles, and connection. And this story? It was three times as sweet.
